About Us
Stage Stars offer dance, drama and arts workshops in small classes, specializing in Holiday Workshops (age groups 3-5 and 5-12) where each child receives individual attention.The Stage Stars dance studio is set in a beautiful country house in Little Canfield, near Great Dunmow in Essex. Sparkle with Stage Stars
Stage Stars offers dance, drama and arts classes, specializing in holiday workshops. Classes are split in to two age groups, 3-5yrs and 5-12yrs.
Almost as soon as we can walk we love to dance and play, which brings together new friends and allows us to enter a new world of magical movement and arts.
Stage Stars workshops include learning to move in time with music,
skipping, leaping, marching, clapping, stretching, bending, improvising
and singing.
Stage Stars workshops bring to life the magic of movement and arts and taught by three experienced teachers;
- Vlada, a fully trained dancer and gymnast from Russia who has been part of many world famous shows.
- Carrie, a dancer and actor holding an equity card, teaches Drama at Great Easton Primary School and has worked around Europe dancing, including with the Two Ronnies, and
- Sarah, who has run the Xmas craft events at High Trees Barn for the last 4 years and is chairperson of High Roding Parent and Toddler Group, which she has run for the past 5 years. Sarah runs the arts side of the workshops.
All three teachers are all CRB checked through Ofsted, of which we are
a voluntary member, and the Pre School Learning Alliance. Sarah
is a qualified first aider.
The sessions are broken down
in to a warm up with ballet, arts, a break for juice and a snack, and
then jazz, drama and belly dancing, which the children found to be
great fun, and excellent exercise.
We limit the places on
the workshops so we can offer each child close attention and guidance
in each section of the day.

Ballet and dance birthday parties, full packages are available including venue, food and an hour and a half of dancing and games.
Other
Courses:
Beginners adults belly dancing, Jazz &
Flamenco, Pilates Rhythmic Gymanstics, Adult dance days, Ribbon
